The New Tang Dynasty Television (NTD Television) International Violin Competition is part of a series of global cultural and arts events presented by NTD Television. The mission of this competition is to promote the traditional artistic values of pure authenticity, pure goodness, and pure beauty, and to revive the brilliance of violin masterpieces from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods.

Through its commitment to artistic excellence, the competition aims to ensure that the centuries-old legacy of violin repertoire continues to flourish. We regard this body of work as a cultural treasure of humanity—one that should be preserved, cherished, and passed on to future generations.

A tribute to the golden age masters of violin playing – this competition aspires to encourage upcoming and talented violinists to play with a beautiful tone and singing quality, placing emphasis not only on technicalities, but also on the quality of sound, and most importantly the heart and soul that goes into the music.

Launched in 2008, the competition is hosted by NTD, a New York–based global television network known for its rich multilingual programming in English, French, Spanish, Russian, Hebrew, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese. NTD connects with tens of millions of viewers worldwide through satellite, cable, over-the-air broadcasts, and streaming platforms, as well as newspapers and magazines from its sister media. The final round of the competition will be live streamed, and a recorded, edited version will air as a TV special on NTD’s network.

4. SHENYUN SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA: All the finalists will have the opportunity to collaborate with the SHENYUN Symphony Orchestra.
5. Live-streaming Broadcasting: The final round of the NTD International Violin Competition will be broadcast live via social media channels and websites of the New Tang Dynasty (NTD) Television and The Epoch Times, which could potentially reach 180 million followers worldwide.
